How to prepare for a Boudoir shoot?

Boudoir photos are a great way to celebrate your body and yourself. But if you've never had professional photos taken of yourself before, you might be nervous about the whole process. If so, don't worry! We're here to help you get ready.

The night before is when the nerves may start to set in. Don’t panic this is completely normal and those butterflies may just be excitement!

The main thing you need to make sure you have before your Boudoir shoot is TIME. You don’t want to be rushing and in panic mode; remember this is a pamper day and you deserve to feel replenished and amazing.

Lets’s start with outfits. Having a plan of what you are going to wear is the best thing to do. As we have 3 beautiful diverse rooms you will want some very contrasting underwear. Have a little try on the night before and do some cheeky poses in the mirror, which you can see on our Tik Tok! Comfort is key and as long as you are feeling yourself it doesn’t matter how plain the set might be, confidence is what shows most on the camera!

Not one to plan? Feel free to throw EVERYTHING (yes we mean everything) into a bag and your photographer will be more than happy to assist and style you on the day. We’ve been doing this for a long time so we are very confident in knowing what sets best suit your body type and skin tone!

Once you’re all packed for your shoot its time to relax. Having a chilled out night before your shoot will make such a difference the next day. Have a nice bath, stick a face mask on and a good vibes playlist, but please no fresh fake tan! If you’re a fake tan lover like me, make sure you’re smothering yourself in moisturiser and exfoliating as this can really show up on camera!

Have a mooch on our instagram to see some different makeup and hair looks you may be interested in, but apart from this you are all good to go!

A Boudoir session with us at Curves is the ultimate glam day out and I guarantee you will feel AMAZING the moment you leave the building xx

Happy pampering !
